Instructions: Specify the frequency, length, width and thickness of the conductor and choose a conductor material from the drop-down list. To specify a custom material, enter the relative permeability and either the resistivity or the conductivity of the material.

The resistance of the conductor is calculated using the equations in the figure on the right. At low frequencies, where the conductor width or thickness is less than two skin depths, the resistance is approximately equal to the DC resistance, RLF. At frequencies, where the skin depth is small compared to the width and thickness, the equation for RHF is employed.
